CHS Boys Soccer Banquet

All players, their parents, and a guest are invited. All players are welcome to bring a date to the banquet.  Many of the upperclassmen bring dates, but many of the underclassmen choose not to.  This is entirely up to each player.
The dress code usually includes dress slacks and a tie. Some players wear a sport coat, but it is not required.  

CHS Girls & Boys - Time Warner Cable Broadcast - vs Lewisville - updated 03-11-2009

The games are going to be broadcast on Wednesday, March 11th. The girls game will be first at 4PM followed by the boys game at 6PM on channel 185. After the original air date the games will be available thru Time Warner Cable Video on Demand for 30 days. If you have Time Warner just click on the "On Demand" button and scroll to Metro Sports or go to channel 634. If one of the parents wants to buy a copy of the game they can do so at www.metrosportstexas.com or call 817-552-5302.

Let's Fill The Stands on Friday February 13th when our varsity boys take on Marcus at 7:45.  Plan on coming and joining the fun.

First 100 CHS students get in free, first CYSA teams to sign up will scrimmage at half, we'll have raffle items and much much more!

With the weather the last two days, we're reminded how abruptly things can change.  In an effort to quickly communicate things to you when changes occur, we're preparing a text message blast as well. If you'd like to be included, please have your player return the form by Thursday 12/18 so that we can have this up and running before the start of the season.

All CHS Soccer Boys should wear a white shirt and red shorts for practice. Practice attire can be ordered by printing the above form and turning it in with your payment to Coach Bybee.

Parent Substance Abuse Awareness Survey (www.psass.org)
Athletes' parents must complete a survey. Once you go to the site (www.psaas.org), click on Select District button on the left side of the page. In the drop down box, click the arrow and select Coppell ISD. On the left hand side, click Course Registration, English or Spanish, New User. Register for the course, read the information, and then complete the assessment.

Please take the time to look at the UIL Parent Manual. It is packed with great information.

If a player is going to miss practice (sick, Dr. Apt, etc), the player should either text, email or call their coach. Contact information: Coach Bybee = sbybee@coppellisd.com, Coach Pace = mpace@coppellisd.com, Coach Hairston = shairston@coppellisd.com. Office phone is 214-496-6352

During the season, players can wear white long sleeve shirts under the jerseys. Suggestions are either underarmour or zyflex to help keep warm. The under shirt must be white, no matter which jersey is worn. Sliders may be worn under shorts and must be the same color as the shorts. Shorts may be red, white, or black depending on the team and what uniform is assigned for that game.

Shinguards must have the NOCSAE Seal of Approval and be the right size for the height of the player.

Print the following forms from CHS website:
--> a. Preparticipation Physical Form
--> b. Emergency Information (get notarized)
--> c. UIL & CISD Athletic Policies
--> d. UIL Steroid Agreement 2008-2009 School Year (this form was updated on Aug 6, 2008 - if you printed the UIL Steroid Agreement prior to Aug 6, you must print this one to submit)

Complete forms A & B prior to your physical and bring them with you to your physical!

Keep ALL forms (A-D) & give them to YOUR child’s coach by the first day of practice. To Prevent Loss of Forms, Do Not Send Forms to the Athletic Training Office or Athletic Office

Coppell Boys Soccer - Announcement from Coach Bybee - updated 09-03-2008

For all players who need to order their letter jackets, the representative will be on campus September 9th to size the jackets and take orders.  We will make arrangements for players to meet with the representative, but players may need to meet for some time after school as well. Players that qualify for letter jackets will be notified by the coach in advance.
